一个朋友发来的一个故事,把它记录在日记中和大家分享.
　　
　　Once there was a fourteen-year-old girl who got angry with her mother and ran away from home. She left without money or warm clothes. Soon she was cold and hungry but she was too angry and too proud to go back home.
　　
　　Out in the street she saw an old woman in a market selling hot noodles. They looked so good. The old woman saw that she was cold and hungry. She gave her a bowl of noodles. When she did the girl began to cry. “Why are you crying?” she asked. “Because my mother made me angry and I ran away and I was cold and hungry and you are so kind, you gave me a bowl of noodles.
　　
　　The old woman said, “How old are you?”
　　
　　“Fourteen,” the girl said.
　　
　　“Look at me. Your mother has fed you three times a day for fourteen years and you are angry with her. You don’t even know me and you are weeping grateful tears for one bowl of noodles. Don’t you think you should go home and thank your mother for fourteen years of love and care?”

　　 走到街上,她发现一个老奶奶正在集市上卖看起来非常诱人的热腾腾的面条.老奶奶看到她又冷又饿的样子,就给了她一碗热面条.当她忙碌时,小女孩开始哭泣. “你为何要哭”,她问. “我因为妈妈惹我生气而跑了出来,又冷又饿,你对我却这么好,给我一碗面吃.”
　　
　　 老奶奶问: “你几岁啦”?
　　
　　 “14”,小女孩答道.
　　
　　 “看着我.你现在生气的妈妈在14年中每天给你三餐.你几乎不认识我,却只为了一碗面条而流出感激的泪水.难道你不应该回家感激你妈妈在14年里对你的关爱”?
