　　“Faster, Higher, Stronger” is not only a classical slogan for Olympics, but also a symbol for the spirit of making arduous efforts. Nowadays, the slogan also stands for an innovative spirit for Bank of China, which is the only official banking partner of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Furthermore, it is an aim for the staff in BOC to strive for. As personnel in BOC, I have my own sentiment to the slogan.
　　
　　On July 14,2004, BOC signed with Beijing Organizing Committee for 2008 Olympic Games to become the official banking partner of the 2008 Olympics. It is an epochal cooperation between BOC and Olympics. Furthermore, it is the first time for Chinese commercial bank to participate in the worldwide physical field.
　　
　　It well known that the TOP global sponsor is the most high-grade sponsor for the Winter Olympics and Summer Olympics during the four-year time. It has the right to use the symbol and property right of Olympics all over the world. The foremost right for TOP sponsor is the exclusive right. That’s to say, in each field, there is only one enterprise can provide finance and other forms of support for the Olympics. Other enterprises in the same field cannot participate in Olympic sponsorship. According to The marketing plan for the Beijing Olympic Games, it needs a thorough investigation and all-round evaluation to select a sponsor. BOC defeated more than 600 potential sponsors and was selected as the official banking partner of the 2008 Olympics, just because it reached the standard in all aspects and excelled other enterprises. Nowadays, BOC has become one of the most prestigious banks in finance over the world: BOC undertook the official banking partner of Chinese sports delegations in Olympics for three times; BOC turned into the top 500 enterprises for a consecutive 14 years. When I was surfing on line, I found that comparing with some excellent craft brothers, what I did is insufficient. There is a large gap between us in experience and service. To some degree, my shortage is not only in technique, but also in consciousness. If I don’t deal with the problem and make progress, I’m afraid that I have to face the end of being washed out. Moreover, it is indispensable for everyone of us in BOC to follow the spirit of making arduous efforts. 　　The Olympics has a history of hundreds years. BOC, which was funded in 1912, will be about a hundred years old during Beijing 2008 Olympics. All Chinese are in expectation, and all the workers in BOC are in expectation. We Chinese believe that, people all over the world will see that Beijing 2008 Olympics will get a great success under the support of Chinese financial community. BOC will obtain an epochal development during participating in the Olympics. The centuried dream of Olympics will come true in China, and the centuried blueprint of BOC will be carried out through the grand ceremony!
